Intec Automation employs an extremely talented group of Machine Designers and Mechanical Engineers. Most with BSME degrees and decades of experience in complex mechanical elements, processes and machine designs.

Our primary machine design software is Solid Works. It’s powerful 3D modeling allows us to build and mate all of the various machine design elements to enable moving and running the machine in simulation on our computers. Design presentations and reviews are precise, informative and flush out any possible questions or issues. Our customers see and get exactly what they need for each project.

Systems are constructed from conceptual models that are created during the proposal phase, which set the direction, goals, cost and timing for each project. Each system has major and minor subassemblies which transcend into purchased components and detailed drawings for our machine shop.

Managing large BOM’s, ordering components and planning and tracking deliveries are all important elements in a project. Our machine designers rely heavily upon trained and efficient office staff people who understand how to purchase and receive, request and process vendor quotes, help specify components and expedite deliveries.

All of our engineers have spacious and comfortable work areas with the latest software and most powerful workstations available. Intec uses a central server system with reliable back-up devices and secure data storage. Our customers own the design when the project is complete and we provide complete documentation packages for every machine.
