Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers

SUMMARY:

An automation company specializing in clean-sheet design and build of custom automation machinery is looking for Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers. Full-time with benefits. The individuals we are seeking must enjoy handling multiple projects, in different phases, at the same time. The company needs hands-on, detailed individuals that are self-motivated. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Operations
  • Lean Manufacturing (5S)
  • Build, Assemble, and Troubleshoot Mechanical and Electrical equipment
  • Shop Organization and Housekeeping
  • Shop Safety

REQUIRED:

  • Must be open minded, energetic and able to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and retain information.
  • Must be able to work well individually as well as in a team.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

DESIRED:

  • Overall shop experience.
  • Electrical / Mechanical experience and knowledge of manufacturing methods and assembly techniques .
  • Knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications (Electrical and Mechanical).
  • SolidWorks and AutoCAD exposure a plus.
  • Milling, and Lathe experience a plus.
  • PLC experience a plus.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tech School Degree or other related education a plus, but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
  • Ability to move around manufacturing warehouse.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
