The automated needle flatting station had a huge impact on what we do here. With the manual machine, we used to have a lot of issues with the flatting of our product. We still measure so many parts off of each run but now with how stable this automated process is here, it’s the flip of a button and we get exactly what we need.  With the manual operation, it would take hours of swapping jobs around and trying to tweak and adjust things to get it flattened the right way, to the right height.  With the Intec automated machine, you can do it in 2-3 minutes and there's none of that adjustment necessary. 

As a production planner, with the automated operation, we can plan much further in advance than what we used to be able to do with the manual process. We are able to hold more stock now because the process and operations are much more reliable so we can plan production better. We can plan many, many weeks in advance now, whereas before we were nervous to do that.
