Dane Mooers

Dane Mooers is an experienced Business Development Manager who has been with Intec Automation since 2020. He has been thoroughly involved in multiple roles of a project; from project management through controls engineering, both at Intec and at previous employers. He became a capital equipment project manager in 2016 earning his PMP certificate in 2017. Dane stated “My current function is a combination of my two loves in this industry, engineering and business. My role is to help determine the needs of our customers, work with them to develop a scope of work, as well as key desired outcomes of the project, and determine how to best meet these needs.” Dane has a range of experience from working in the automotive industry as well as food and beverage. There is a lot to like about Intec, Dane says the best part of his job is balancing the dynamics of both business and engineering. He also enjoys developing lasting relationships with customers to figure out exactly what their needs are and how to fully meet all of their automation needs. Dane says, “I enjoy a challenge, love thinking both inside and outside the box to determine the solution that will best fit the customer's ROI and their needs.” Dane has been in the industry for several years now and has had the opportunity to work through multiple roles. He has managed projects from both sides of the table and he says it has helped him understand the need and impact of the decisions being made from all perspectives. He's grateful for the opportunities he's had! When Dane isn't working, he enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hunting riding and working on his motorcycle. Dane is also a Royal Ranger Commander. He spends time mentoring young boys to become great young men. Dane also has a passion for cooking, especially competition-style BBQ. Dane has a wonderful wife, Amarie and four amazing boys who also keep him busy with their sporting events. Dane is a great asset to Intec Automation and we are happy to call him part of our team! He brings passion, knowledge and accomplishment to help our business be what it is today.
